Our team built most of the platform:

• The product catalogue: item records with three levels of family, EAN barcodes and their generation, taxes and VAT classes, composite items and substitute products.
• The complete purchasing cycle: supplier orders, goods receipt with sign-off, purchase invoices, credit notes and supplier returns.
• The complete sales cycle: quotes, customer orders, delivery notes, order picking, invoices in PDF and XML export, credit notes and returns.
• The till and point of sale: opening and closing the till, taking payment, PDF receipts and holding a sale, quick over-the-counter selling.
• Multi-site stock management: movements, corrections with sign-off and import, stocktakes with automatic recalculation, locations and storage sites.
• Advanced pricing: purchase and sales promotions, discount grids, volume and end-of-year rebates, per-customer pricing.
• The cross-cutting functions: fine-grained management of customers and suppliers, subscriptions and pre-orders, sales visits and rounds, built-in real-time chat, Excel imports and exports with custom templates, activity log, roles and permissions.

Software on this scale takes more than code. Our team handled the overall design, took part in meetings with the end clients to translate their business needs, and held the product coherent over several years, through to deployment and running it in production.
